the assignment //
Regenerist from Olay is one of the most popular anti-aging products on the market and they were coming to Charlex to give them a new look. Our assignment was to find beautiful, on brand ways to visually communicate the benefits of their amazing line of Regenerist products. We wanted to give this established brand a fresh look that was ownable to them in any medium. Using light and “cells” has always been an important aspect to the Regenerist brand so I focused on ways to use those elements in ways that told a bigger story about the products’ benefits.
my approach //
Before starting this assignment I researched where Olay had been as a brand and where they wanted to go. They had just redesigned their packaging and I used that as visual inspiration. To me, the most important aspect of this assignment was to truly understand the benefits of their products. This knowledge built the foundation for everything else to launch from. My focus was to find ways that evolved their brand visually but, more importantly communicated how their skin care products worked. Through my explorations I built out broadcast boards and print ads so Charlex could sell a broader campaign and brand evolution to their client.
